Emmy’s Barking Lot offers grooming in both locations - but in different styles.
We are able to offer nail cuts and seasonal (outdoor) baths in our Hanover facility. As these services are done on our daycare floor, we can only extend this service to our daycare clients. Simply just ask the team upon drop off!

Shayla Smart - Stylist
Shayla started at Emmy’s Barking Lot in October, 2023 and we are SO happy she found us! She is an incredibly talented stylist and works so hard to make sure all of her clients not only look good, but feel good too. :)
Shayla has been grooming for over 10 years, and is adored by her long lasting clients - both human and dogs alike! She got her start as a bather, and quickly realized she was meant to be a pet stylist. Fast forward a few years and now Shayla specializes in breed standard cuts, doodles, and has a very special love for shih tzus.
Shayla lives in Middleboro with her son Barrett and her newest best fur friend Rocky aka “Rockaroo.” She has felt extremely grateful for her long term clients and has enjoyed making more connections here at Emmy’s. We know we feel so lucky to have her!
VICKI VEGA - stylist
We are so grateful that Vicki came to join us this past summer. While we heard she was a fantastic groomer, we have been so impressed by the love and care she has given every dog in her care. She is extremely skilled and a huge asset to our grooming salon.
Vicki has 6 years grooming experience, starting as a bather and quickly worked her way to becoming a stylist. Shortly after she started in 2018, she fell in love with this career and will be in it for life! She loves all breeds, but holds a special place in her heart for the big guys.
She lives in Bridgewater with her son Owen, who also shares a love for animals.
bella morrissey - bather
Bella started at Emmy’s Barking Lot in 2020. She was a very talented senior dog handler for a few years and then went over to our grooming salon last summer.
Before Emmy’s, Bella worked as a bather in 2018 for 2 years and worked with dogs for a whole decade before that. Fun fact: Bella & Shayla were such an unstoppable team back in 2018, that Bella knew she had to get Shayla to join us here at Emmy’s!
While Bella has some haircut experience, she decided to stick to continuing to provide the best baths possible start. She understands that not all grooms require a hair cut and those dogs still would like their nails and teeth done! Also, in her words she “loveeeeees a good de-shed bath!”
Bella has loved animals her whole life. She rode horses for 22 years (country girl through and through) and will be working with dogs for the rest of her life! With all of her experience in the grooming salon and on the daycare floor, Bella is extremely talented with helping the anxious or nervous dogs feel safe and comfortable. We are so lucky to have her!

We will not provide price estimates or quotes for new clients, as we need to see the dog first!***
Should you have a very stinky, or itchy pup we have special shampoos and treatments to help. Don’t be afraid to voice any concerns you may have about your dog; our grooming team is happy to make recommendations to help your dog!
